Future Engineering Research (FER) is a fully open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to ensuring the unrestricted dissemination of high-quality engineering research. All articles published in FER are freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication, allowing researchers, practitioners, educators, policymakers, and the general public worldwide to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full text without subscription or access barriers.
Articles published in FER are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License. Copyright Policy
Authors who publish in Future Engineering Research (FER) retain full copyright of their work while granting the journal the non-exclusive right to publish and disseminate the article under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) License.
Specifically:
A) Authors retain copyright of their published work and grant FER the right of first publication under the CC BY 4.0 License, which permits unrestricted sharing, distribution, adaptation, and reuse of the work, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original authors and the initial publication in Future Engineering Research (FER) is properly cited.
B) Authors may enter into separate, non-exclusive agreements for the distribution of the published version of their article, including depositing it in institutional repositories, personal websites, research networking platforms, or publishing it as part of books or other scholarly works, provided that its original publication in FER is acknowledged.
C) Authors are encouraged to disseminate their published articles through institutional repositories, funding agency repositories, personal webpages, academic social networks, and other scholarly communication platforms. Such dissemination enhances research visibility, promotes knowledge exchange, increases readership, and may contribute to higher citation impact.
Archiving Policy
Future Engineering Research (FER) is committed to the long-term preservation and permanent accessibility of the scholarly record. To ensure that published content remains freely available for future generations, all published articles are securely archived using trusted digital preservation services.
FER currently preserves its published content through the Internet Archive, ensuring long-term accessibility, reliability, and protection against data loss. As the journal continues to grow, additional digital preservation and archiving services may be adopted to further strengthen the long-term preservation of published research.
