Vol. 2 No. 1 (2023): February 2023 Issue
The February 2023 issue of Future Energy presents a collection of studies focused on combustion, thermal management, solar-energy potential, hydrogen production, and advanced combustion systems. The issue examines numerical simulations of sulfide–biomass combustion during copper furnace smelting, as well as the performance and optimization of indirect flat evaporative coolers. It also assesses the solar-energy potential of southeastern Iran for electricity generation and explores hydrogen production through the photodecomposition of water–ethanol mixtures using TiO₂ fiber catalysts. In addition, the issue examines the characteristics of turbulent non-premixed methane/air flames in miniature swirl burners under different airflow swirl conditions. Together, these studies demonstrate the broad scope of energy research, spanning clean energy production, energy efficiency, hydrogen technologies, and advanced combustion processes.
