The November 2023 issue of the Future Sustainability Journal presents a collection of studies focused on sustainable energy, advanced materials, and renewable technologies. This issue features comprehensive reviews on recycling technologies for electric vehicle batteries and renewable energy development in the ASEAN region, highlighting policy, environmental, and economic impacts. It also includes experimental investigations into the performance and temperature cycling of commercial lithium-ion batteries, along with the design and analysis of hybrid hydro-solar photovoltaic systems for rural electrification in Malaysia. Additionally, the issue explores the use of Norozak (Salvia lerrifolia) biodiesel in diesel engines, examining its effects on engine performance. Together, these contributions provide practical and forward-looking insights for advancing sustainable energy solutions and technologies.
